On Monday, April 14th, the 21 national parks, national cooperation partners, the central government, provinces, and municipalities signed the National Parks Manifesto. With this, the parties indicate their willingness to collaborate on the goals from the National Parks Policy Program 2024-2030

The goals of the policy program are:
a)     Enhance the nature, landscape, heritage, and spatial qualities of each national park – each park from its own area identity.
b)     Develop each national park into more robust nature and landscape areas with strong core natural areas.
c)     Strengthen the unique nature experience of each national park, in balance with the carrying capacity of nature.
d)     Strengthen the connection between society and the national parks.
e)     Increase the recognizability and unity of the collective national parks in the Netherlands.
