Starting today, visitors to the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park can visit two new discovery centers. At Discover Center Groeneveld and Discover Center Kwintelooijen, they can interactively get to know the national park and the surrounding area.

Visitors can explore how the Utrechtse Heuvelrug landscape was formed, which plants and animals live there, and the challenges it faces. Additionally, the discovery centers combine education, information, and nature experience to contribute to greater awareness, appreciation, and protection of this unique area.

A Different Perspective

At the discovery centers, visitors experience in an inspiring way how they themselves are part of the local environment. They serve as a starting point for a different perspective on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug with a focus on nature, cultural history, and the future of the area, as well as the local stories of Groeneveld Castle and Kwintelooijen Nature Reserve. Instead of just offering information, the discovery centers invite wonder, awareness, and connection with the environment.
