Every year on May 24, we celebrate National Park Day, a time when the most characteristic nature areas of the Netherlands are put in the spotlight. In 2027, we invite young and old to join rangers, guides, and other nature enthusiasts to discover the biodiversity of our parks. They are places where you can enjoy the most beautiful nature and are home to special plants and animals. We invite everyone to experience what this nature does to you. That we humans are part of nature. That we need nature but also the other way around. Because these special places do not remain special just like that!
National parks are there for you to experience nature and the culture connected to it. On May 24, the parks celebrate National Park Day.
